Demolitions are a necessary part of property development, whether in the commercial or residential sectors. As such, the same principle applies across the board – old structures need to be removed in order to make way for new ones or to clear space for the establishment of things like landscaping.
At Union Demolition, we offer expert house demolition services that abide by all necessary regulations. With us, you can rest assured that the job will be done quickly, safely, and with a high degree of professionalism.
The main constraints for residential demolition projects are tight timelines and difficult access. Typically, residential properties do not have a lot of space to move heavy machinery around. In addition, there is the very present risk of damage inadvertently being done to neighbouring properties, which can be costly.
As such, we have invested in specific machinery and trucks that are the right size to access tight Auckland residential sites. We have experience in demolishing million-dollar mansions right through to single-level state houses.
Our team is extremely thorough and careful, demolishing with absolute precision and attention to detail. We will preserve and protect whatever needs to be kept intact, while ensuring that the structures that require demolition are fully removed.
You can rest easy knowing that your residential demolition needs are handled with professionalism through our house demolition services.
Union Demolition takes its recycling responsibilities very seriously. When demolishing houses, there is typically a lot of material that can be saved and repurposed. Sadly, when others do house demolitions, this kind of material often gets sent to landfills indiscriminately, which contributes to environmental degradation.
We make sure to carefully separate the demolished materials so that waste is minimised. After all, we all have a responsibility to contribute to the betterment of our planet – one project at a time.
All salvageable doors and windows are removed and transported to our salvage yard. Bricks and roof tiles are crushed as hardfill. Native timbers are denailed and rerun. Framing timbers are cut down and sent to the islands.
Hours of contact: 8am to 5pm.

“Amazed at the speed it got done in - awesome work and wouldn't have been possible without Mark's help. If only he'd been organising the old builders the place would be finished by now! ;-)”
